What Clip Does

Clip helps you make a local handoff checklist for selected files. You can select files with the Android document picker, record display names and byte sizes, add a receiver or note, save the checklist on your device, and share the checklist as plain text.

Local File Handling

Clip does not upload selected files to a developer server. Clip stores selected file display names, sizes, receiver labels, notes, dates, and saved handoff lists locally on your device.

Clip does not read full file contents for remote processing and does not provide cloud storage, backup, file recovery, or delivery guarantees.

Ads And Consent

Clip uses Google AdMob and Google User Messaging Platform. Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and share ad-related data for ad serving, fraud prevention, diagnostics, analytics, and platform operation.

Important Limits

Clip is not a file viewer, scanner, file editor, file merger, file converter, cloud backup app, recovery app, official document validator, safety checker, identity verifier, upload validator, or messaging service.
