What Crop does
Crop is a local Android photo utility. It lets you pick one image with the Android system file picker, preview it, rotate it, crop it into a 4:5 document-style frame, and save a separate JPG copy on your device.
Photos and files
Crop does not upload selected photos to a server. The selected image is processed on your device. Saved JPG copies are written locally through Android MediaStore, and recent saved-file references are stored on the device so you can reopen recent results.
Local data
Crop may store recent saved JPG display names, source display names, Android content URIs, timestamps, and rotation metadata in local app storage. This information is used only to show recent crop records inside the app.
Permissions
Crop uses Internet and network state permissions for Google Mobile Ads. It does not request camera permission, broad storage permission, location permission, contacts, SMS, microphone, or account access.
Ads
Crop uses Google AdMob. Google may process advertising identifiers, device information, approximate ad delivery signals, diagnostics, and consent status according to Google policies. The User Messaging Platform consent flow may be shown where required.
Limits
Crop is not a document scanner, OCR tool, PDF creator, automatic edge detector, automatic face detector, official verification service, government service, bank service, courier service, or approval checker. It only saves a local cropped JPG copy from the photo you choose.
