Dust Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-06-17
Overview
Dust is a local phone-file cleanup planning board. It helps you record cleanup targets such as downloads, photos, APKs, videos, chat exports, browser files, Bluetooth files, and temporary folders.
Local File Handling
Dust uses the Android document picker when you attach a file. Selected file contents are not uploaded by Dust to a developer server. Dust may store the file display name and document URI locally on your device so the saved dust card can reopen the file later.
Data Stored On Device
Dust can store cleanup-card metadata locally, including cleanup target, folder or source, decision, date, note, file display name, document URI, and created date. This data is used to show your saved local cleanup planning board.
Advertising And Consent
Dust uses Google AdMob for ads and Google User Messaging Platform for consent. Google services may collect or share ad-related data such as device identifiers, approximate diagnostics, ad interactions, and consent signals for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention.
Permissions
Dust uses internet and network state permissions for ads and consent. Dust does not request broad storage access, camera, microphone, contacts, SMS, or location permissions.
Limits
Dust is not a scanner, damaged-file recovery tool, authority verification service, print compatibility checker, cloud sync service, file converter, automatic storage cleaner, phone booster, cooling tool, antivirus, or broad file-manager suite. It does not promise automatic deletion, storage recovery, phone speed improvement, upload acceptance, document approval, or third-party service results.
