Exif Privacy Policy

What Exif Does

Exif lets you choose one photo, review available metadata hints, and save a separate clean JPG copy. The original photo stays unchanged.

Photo Handling

Exif reads only the photo you select with Android's document picker. Metadata checking and clean JPG creation happen locally on your device, and a new JPG is written only when you choose a save destination.

Permissions

Exif does not request broad storage, photo library, camera, location, contacts, microphone, SMS, usage access, accessibility, VPN, or device admin permissions. Internet and network state are used for Google Mobile Ads and consent.

Ads And Consent

Exif uses Google Mobile Ads SDK and Google User Messaging Platform to show ads and manage consent where required. Google may process advertising identifiers, device information, consent signals, and ad interaction data according to Google policies.

Limits

Exif is not a full photo editor, scanner, AI enhancer, upload validator, or identity verification service. Metadata availability depends on the selected file and Android decoder support.
