Nfo Privacy Policy

Nfo helps users check local NFO, DIZ, and text-like info file hints before archive, download, software setup, support, tech handoff, office, or customer sharing.

File access

Nfo uses Android's document picker. The app reads a capped local text sample from the selected file to show info-file handoff hints such as type, ASCII-art density, line count, and local note.

No account or upload

Nfo does not require an account login and does not upload selected NFO files or other selected files to an app server.

Limitations

Nfo does not download files, does not open archives, does not extract archives, does not edit or rewrite files, does not save changes, and does not guarantee exact ANSI rendering. It also does not write system settings, validate uploads, perform official file checks, scan files in the background, or guarantee acceptance by any service.

Advertising

Nfo uses Google Mobile Ads SDK and Google User Messaging Platform. Google may process device, ad, and diagnostic data according to its advertising policies.
