Pet Care Board is a local-first pet routine app. In this release, the app is designed to work without account creation.

• recurring care task schedules
• notes you add
• reminder settings
• locally exported backup files

How the information is used

The information stored by Pet Care Board is used to:

• show your pet board
• calculate due care tasks
• save your notes and schedules
• support optional reminders
• export and restore backups

Data sharing

In version 1.0.0, Pet Care Board does not collect, transmit, sell, or share your pet-care data with Petaflo or third parties for core app use.

Pet Care Board does not require account creation for core use in this release.

Data collection

Pet Care Board is designed for local-first use. Data you enter is stored on your device unless you choose to export a backup file or your Android device handles backup, restore, or device-transfer features at the system level.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, Pet Care Board may request notification permission so it can send pet-care reminders.

Backups

If you export a backup, a backup file may be saved to app-accessible storage on your device. You are responsible for how you manage exported backup files.

Security

We aim to minimize data use in this release by keeping core pet-care data on-device where practical. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure.

Children

Pet Care Board is a general audience utility app and is not designed specifically for children.
