Tar is a local TAR archive handoff checker. It does not require an account.

Local file access

Tar uses Android's document picker. The app reads only the file selected by the user and uses a capped local sample plus metadata to show type, first entry hint, size, and archive handoff notes.

Tar does not upload selected files. Tar does not extract, view archive contents, repair, convert, delete, or rename selected files.

Ads and consent

Tar uses Google Mobile Ads SDK and Google's User Messaging Platform for consent where required. Advertising partners may process device or ad data according to their own policies.
