Yml Privacy Policy

Yml helps users check local YAML and YML text file hints before app setup, server handoff, cloud handoff, website review, support ticket, office archive, or customer sharing.

File access

Yml uses Android's document picker. The app reads a capped local text sample from the selected file to show config handoff hints such as file type, mapping lines, list lines, document markers, indentation clue, and local note.

No account or upload

Yml does not require an account login and does not upload selected files to an app server.

Limitations

Yml does not edit files, save changes, sync configuration, write system settings, repair files, convert files, validate schemas, validate Kubernetes or Docker Compose, validate uploads, or guarantee acceptance by any service.

Advertising

Yml uses Google Mobile Ads SDK and Google User Messaging Platform. Google may process device, ad, and diagnostic data according to its advertising policies.
